Hi I’m Val! I’m the Owner and Head Planner of Perfectly Planned LLC.
The journey of how I got to where I am isn’t too long, but it’s a journey I’m so glad I took. Being a Wedding Planner was always something I wanted to do- besides my original dream of being a wedding dress designer (never too late right?). It wasn’t until I was in college, in my guidance counselor’s office- after 2 years of having no idea what I wanted to do- and she said “Val, what do you want to be?” I told her I want to be a Wedding Planner, and the rest was history! When I was younger, I was always the planner. From my friends birthday parties, to just getting everyone together- I was the one that took care of it! I loved planning, and taking care of the details- no matter how minor.
I knew this is what I wanted, so I gave it my absolute all. I took a course to become certified, volunteered myself for friends and family’s weddings, did any research I could find about weddings, stayed up to date on wedding trends, and eventually got my LLC and started my business! With 5 years, and over 50 weddings under my belt, I feel confident in my ability to help couples plan one of the most important and best days of their lives.
It wasn’t until 4 years after I started my business that I finally got to plan my own wedding! It was a marriage almost 10 years in the making, but it was so worth the wait. You’ll find us eating pizza and watching Netflix on the couch surrounded by our cats, and the stray cats we regularly feed.
« I absolutely love learning how couples met, and how they got engaged. Don’t be surprised if I ask you how your love story began at our consultation!
« My favorite wedding trend right now is greenery, and mixing metals. I seriously can’t get enough!
« My favorite part of the wedding day: telling the couple it’s time to get married. The excitement mixed with nerves in that moment is unlike anything else, and I absolutely adore it.

«Favorite wedding trend: When couples personalize their wedding with specific details about them, and of course dessert bars!
«Favorite part of the wedding day: When the couple sees each other for the first time as the bride walks down the aisle. They both relax, and are just so happy and in love. That’s what the day is all about, and it’s my absolute favorite thing to witness again, and again.
